As I sit here writing this invitation to our upcoming Cleveland dance, I want to first acknowledge what a privilege it is for me to hold this space. GRATITUDE.
Many of you know me through our bimonthly ecstatic dances at Dance Your Soul and the incredible community that we’ve re-awakened over the last few years. I’m reflecting on what a surprise and amazing gift it was when Kurt asked me to take on the role of leading DYS! Around that the time, it was my plan to attend the 2020 5Rhythms Spaceholder training which was of course canceled. One door closed and another opened, and I couldn’t have asked for a better entry to community leadership in this way. It was and continues to be a joy to support this thriving community.
